It would be interesting to know what you people think about DJing on a PC. It's a decision for those who don't have turntables, but how do you feel when a Dj does the mix on a PC in a club? Some might say it is crap or something, some might say that if a Dj plays good it doesn't fucking matter what's used for hyping the dancefloor crowd.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts & opinions By the way, anybody here doin' stuff like that?

to me a good set is a good set weather its on turntables, a PC or a live band!
the advantage with a PC is that you can add so many more effects. but you cant beet the showmanship of some one on turntables. ;D

Yeah =)) looks not that impressive ^^
A new club has just opened in the centre of my Moscow city and I will be probably performing 3 hour live acts on my laptop using Traktor2 every Saturday alongside another Dj (turntablist). I won't be on the scene - there's a special place for a Dj they told me. 50 euros for a set (in the beginning). And I will also be MCing during the jam sessions every Thursday there with a group of real musicians, I mean drums, bass guitars, guitars etc.
Gonna be payed for the everyday things I do @ home!

I agree, I think that as long as its a sick set, then it dosnt matter... it would help if theres some sort of stage presense too, the performing aspect is always good, which is what I think appeals with the live sets, but a sick set is a sick set at the end of the day.
